A beautiful specimen in a great setting. I like the composition of this shot and the very fine detail in both the butterfly and the blossom. Effective use of your limited depth of field and great colors.

Your close-up is excellent. The butterfly is very attractive. Its colors are beautiful. Your photo has good depth and is perfect focused and exposed. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. The Iron Weed at the background is unobtrusive, but shows the environment nicely. The photo is well composed. The Painted Lady is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Your close-up is excellent. The butterfly is very attractive. Its colors are beautiful. Your photo has good depth and is perfect focused and exposed. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. The Iron Weed at the background is unobtrusive, but shows the environment nicely. The photo is well composed. The Painted Lady is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful picture of this uniquely beautiful Painted Lady Butterfly wings outspread alighted on the pink Astilbe sucking nectar. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Wow!! Amazing shot here!! The clarity is pinpoint perfect. The details you captured on the body and wings is great. Nice compositon with the shadow and the flowers and greens in the distance. This deserves a six, I might have held off til Sunday when a fresh crop of 6s are added back into everyone's account...try that next time to be sure you get the ratings you deserve!! Well done!

This Painted lady butterfly looks really beautiful, and you have pictured it so well. It is a very pretty flower it is sitting on as well, and I also think the light is falling so lovely on the butterfly. The background is nicely softened for the butterfly to stand out in an excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen both in the wings and the body of the butterfly. The exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and the butterfly has got a fine placement off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

A Great capture, Bpellephoto. It certainly is the Painted Lady butterfly. I have a shot of one also. Your depth of field is great as is your Bokeh. Colors are great and sharp.
