yeah we soldiers can relate to the ant Top..if were not fighting we are working. wink..lol. cool capture. the angle of the shot of this ant carrying the big load is great. the capture of the li great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall. oh btw i just posted one that is guaranteed to make ya chuckle..it is titled "wrong place to hide". check it out. wink

Thank you so very much for your review. I used an iPhone11 with a close up lens attachment. To get this kind of image I use Burst Mode and either follow the subject or wait for it to enter the frame at a predetermined point. This was one of about 50 shots taken in about 6 seconds.

I hope that this in not TMI.

What a wonderful picture of an ant hunting for food. It's such an amazing close up. I aunts are hate workers and smart insects. I usually don't like insects at all but the ant I don't mind. Thank you so much for sharing

Hi Steve, Love your title it so fits what we see in the image! The little ant is indeed carrying a tree. For the size of the ant the stem is extremely large. The ants are so much stronger than we are.You did a great job capturing this moment. A terrific subject for the "bug" photo contest! Your close-up is terrific! Good Luck in the contest! :o) Nancy
