I guess, the Deer said something similar: My sweetheart was hit by a car. She did not survive, but her remains feet the litter of a Bob Cat.
Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I Appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The deer is well placed within the frame the composition is balanced.

Nice image of the dear watching you to take a photograph.
When I show up with the camera, they run away.
Wonderful colors and the framing with trunks of the trees.
Good colors and composition, sensible description.
Thank you for sharing Jack!

Oh my you have captured the most incredible picture with my his beautiful deer. Love the wooded background and the trees. It's such a pleasant photo to look at. I see deers on the roads all the time and it makes me very sad so I'm always so careful driving since I live close to a wooded area. Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture

years back when i was living in the Memphis area. i was sitting alone in my living by the window watching some national geographic show. then i catch out of the corner of my eye something in the window. when i turned and looked i saw a deer looking thru the window watching tv..when i moved it startled the deer and it ran off. i reckon i was watching the right program for that deer to stop and look..i betcha if i was watching Gordon Ramsey's "Hells Kitchen" that would scare the hell out of the deer..lol..cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this deer is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that beautiful deer. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely taken!

Amen. Careful indeed for the benefit of both the driver and passenger(s) if any, as well as the deer. This deer looks big and strong, proud in what it is. Since it looks kinda like autumn I assume it could be either a buck or doe. If later autumn, the buck would fully have his horns, I understand. Nice commentary and photograpy.

In suburbia they have learned that people can't hunt them and that they do plant delicious flowers and gardens. I have seen herds of a dozen or so parading through a subdivision even ignoring dogs.
