What a beautiful entry into this contest Jewell. All the different shades of pink in the sky are truly lovely, and I like how these are reflected in the sea. The eagle in flight is painted paying such a good attention to details, and also the waves are really well done.
The light house in the distance and the three birds adds interest, and are also giving the painting a fine depth. Your brush work is really good, and you have also used high lights really well.
The format and framing is perfect, and by the placement of the eagle and the sun, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Awesome creation with such a harmonious wonderful content, with all these moving energies in the heavens and the waters showing us that all kind of energy is alive as the move like we are moving by our feet - the bird is well-placed, with such a beautiful color combination and the sun or Moon?? In the heavens are also well-placed that the entire picture becomes very attractive

The sky with its pinks, yellows, and whites is gorgeous. The eagle is good for your first one, real good, although not sure of its angle. The lighthouse and distant seagulls are really nice.

I know what you mean, I find that with my photos, as far as I'm concerned, if you are going to take a look at someone's work, the least you can do is leave some type of review,even if it's only a couple of sentences! I think the eagle makes this perfect and really draws the viewer's eye into your seascape,it could be a picture of the coast in Maine where you would see eagles, or even Alaska. I like the texture and definition in the clouds as well as the ocean waves,and the colors are lovely. A wonderful entry for this contest, i wish you all the best!
