Hi Brenda, this presents as a painting. Had to read the notes and description twice to see that this is actually a photograph. This shows you how effective your use of mixed media was ! The marigolds in turquoise are beautiful and I especially like the centers in the navy blue, I like the way you photographed this to show how the flowers grow, it is such a perfect background in the olive and mauve tones to show the stems and leaves .
This is a lovely entry for the contest, it is indeed a beautiful composition, this would be perfect for wallpaper and it would be so pretty printed onto fabric, I can imagine this pattern on a ladies scarf.

Thank you so much for your review Pat and that you thought it suited what I was aiming for. And yes the ladies scalf is a good idea. It is sl inter3sting what you cam dl these days. My daughter has an online shop and she displays for downloading swatches of patterns that manufacturers and designers buy to use for their products.

Wow this is a stunning piece. I love that you change the marigolds to this beautiful turquoise. And I love the more toned down colors that you use for the background it really makes the Mary gold stand out. Beautiful colors and composition. I wish I had a six to give you for this it's so creative I love it

aint it amazing what they can do with computers. very cool. the angle of the shot of these flowers is great. the clarity is great. the enhancement of this color is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
