This lily is much too gorgeous to be called a ditch lily. You have photographed it very well with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is perfect, the orange tones in the petals and with the bits of yellow and the golden pollen heads at the top of the orange stamens appear natural.
You have brought out every detail in this lily and it is coming forward from the black background in such a beautiful way.

You have indeed pictured this beautiful orange lily well, and the light is falling on it in such a lovely way. I also like a lot the all dark background, because this makes the lily stand out in an excellent way.

Wow it's incredible that you can find these flowers in a ditch. It is so gorgeous. I love the colors. The black background is perfect and I also love the shadowed leaves in the background making this look more mysterious. Good luck in the contest
