Wow this is really beautiful. I love the colors and the composition. The flower is beautiful. I love the background and the lighting in the center it makes it very 3D. Amazing work

I couldn't tell if this was in the right or wrong category. This doesn't look like a photo, but I know with certain effects you can change a photo into looking like this. I think, due to the fact it was to be a photo, I had to mark it down. I'm so sorry.

Hi Mary, I looked up what the contest required and it said Mixed Media was allowed in the contest, This is just that! It is a real lily! :o) You reviewed the way you thought was right. You used to be able to change ratings but, I don't know if that is still possible. If you want to go ahead and try, if not I hope you enjoyed the image. No hard feelings at all! This pink Lily looks truly lovely, and I especially like how you have used smaller ones as a heart frame. I noticed that you have added drop shadows as well, which is giving this creation depth. You could not have picked a better background than a green one, and all the lilies are standing out from it sharp and well defined.
The main lily is in sharp focus, and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen both in the petals and the stamens. The exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and I like the centered position of the lily. I think this is a truly lovely and well done mixed media Nancy, and I wish you luck with the contest.
