I am not a fan of chess, I cant understand it at all, my kids played it when they were in grade 5, but me its like a puzzle and Im bad at solving puzzles, I do not have the patience for a game that take years to make a move lol,, love the colours of the chess pieces here, it got my attention

It looks as if the golden king won this competition. He looks proud. He stands tall, while friend and foe lay exhausted on the ground. The lighting and the background add a surreal feel. The figures on the ground seem to gleam in sunlight and the background looks like a cloudy sky. Your photo has good depth, is perfect focused and exposed, and adequately treated with mixed media. The still life is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This is a first class photograph presented here Bill and is right up my street. The creativity is first class and the focus and depth of field just brilliant. I'll be looking for more of this. Well done

And he alone remains from what went before. Standing among those who willingly fell for a just cause he accepts the mantle of glory so those who remain may touch it.

"The King is dead! Long live the King!!" The cry of supplicant subjects whose greatest hope is that he be just.

This richly crafted creation has the visual impact to conjure numerous interpretations of its message. Your "exhaustive" Mixed Media efforts have paid off handsomely. Photographically it is a tour de force of technical skill being simpatico with the artistic. Rich expressive colors under low light. The positioning of the pieces and the symbolism it creates allows the viewer a mechanism to freely form an interpretation or just look at it because its fun.

You took a mentally inspired vision, shaped and molded it into an original piece of beautifully expressive art and had great fun at the same time. Indeed, you are one very lucky fellow ... Bob P B-))

A very nice image. I have an old wooden chess set in this style. The pieces are beautiful but they don't glow the way you make them. A very fine composition with great lighting.

This is such stunning photography. The colors are so dramatic. I love that the blue and the orange complement each other which makes it stand out more. Outstanding work my friend I wish I had a six left to give you

Awesome presentation and such creative way to show this game.
I love the composition and all the elements, especially the sky surrounding kings head (maybe it should be queen in the next shot session).
Lovely light and colors with superb details.
Great artwork, thank you for sharing. After the hard work, enjoy the relaxing time of thanksgiving!
