This is a well captured view of this old goat with nice focus and outstanding lighting that resembles a soft vignette. The clarity is wonderfully well balanced and it makes a nice presentation.

Still kicking. Still has the will to live. That is great. The old boy looks good in this photo. Nice details and color is excellent. The badlands. A friend of mine just moved to South Dakota. Him and his wife love it there.

Awe! This poor old guy is both pathetic and adorable. Looks like he is shedding his winter coat. Great composition and focus. The vignette works well. All the best in the contest

Lucky you to find this. Such as a beautiful image. You captured this beautifully. All the colors complement each other. This image speaks museum to me. All aspects of this image came together very well.

A very nice shot that should have fared better in this contest. The years have certainly not treated this old guy very kindl. Very nice details and great colors.

Wonderful post of this old goat -- he/she looks like she has eye trouble in her left eye. I could be wrong, but I used to care for goats in the Americas, and I am inclined to think this is a nanny due to the slim face and thin horns... Again, I think this is a great post. Thanks for sharing...!

Hi Steph!
The creature does look like it's had more than a few 'rough miles put on it',doesn't it?
It's an interesting picture though and I'm enjoying it a lot!

OMG, I just want to jump into this picture and embrace this animal and heal him/her from all the bad parts of his body - sad but your picture is perfect in all sections, a great close up and special sharpness as we really can see everything in very details - a great memory shot, and I only can hope that he/she survives - well done, All the best of luck for the contest
