Love the meaning behind this Brenda, interesting storyline then development to image. The detail of the body with the abstracted pattern created like an emergence. Also enjoy both the dark and light depictions and the colour palette to both. All the best in the competition. :)

You have come up with incredibly good compositions. There is so much finesse in how you crafted both male bodies. I love the excellence in maintaining proportions!! And both in contrasting hues. Nice to know you also follow acupressure- kudos and best wishes for the contest

A very unusual presentation of two same creations with different colors making this presentation outstanding - a perfect detailed creation with an outstanding idea of the energetic presentation - your explanation is stunning and your application of this experience is well done running from the head down into the body

Amazing rendition of the human body. You did an amazing job with the proportions. I love acupuncture has helped me so much with my illnesses and disabilities over the years. You really do find relief. I love the colors you used to create it. Wonderful work and thank you so much for sharing

This is interesting to view, very well created male form making this a good entry for the contest.i like the two variations here , the light and shading to emphasize his shape and structure , there is a sense of motion , he s stepping forward. Well arranged within the vertical format is working perfectly to show the forward motion.
Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you Pat. Your review was interesting and so wrlcome. Yes the story was trying to show the white heat of pain and darkness the coming through the tunnel to relief.

Cool,Brenda!
I 'don't know beans' about acupuncture but I enjoyed reading your interesting notes and I'm enjoying your equally interesting mixed media artistic presentation!
( The figure makes me think of the 'Dr.Manhatten' character from the now classic 1980s comic book series 'Watchmen' Awesome! : D )

These are 2 creative approaches to acupuncture. also I like your shading to the left that gives the viewer the illusion that these characters are moving. Another interpretation can be those are waves of healing or maybe an Aurora. This illustration can represent so many possibilities for a story. Kudos! The facials is great. The body form and language is great. The details is great. The depth is good. The touch of color is great. The creation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and awesome work overall. (Clapping)

Mark ... Kudos to you too in that you saw the various messages or stories with this. I initially did the black and white manform meaning it doesnt matter what colour or creed all suffer pain... then my work seemed to take over without me really planning it. The more I added in colour it became better to me. The wavy lines to the left began as waves of pain but your accent on seeing the moving man was a new view. And yes I agree .. that is how I now see it.

Your title even suggested the viewer to notice the wave with the image. I call a cool illusion of the wave with human form.. kudo's (thumbs up)

You see 😃 you brought something to me of my own. Yes the title is what you say. I titled it based on his foot stepping out the tunnel. Amazing. Thank you.

This two part composition imparts more to the viewer than art for art's sake, it taps the essence of life in a profound and conceptual way. My admiration! (I would say more were I not simultaneously immersed in another project...)
