This is a beautiful scene and productive activity and you captured it well. Love the foreground snow/ice with the blue tint especially and the capture of the activity and environment is interesting to someone from the states.

very cool in more ways than one. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of these broken ice in the water and boat is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Greenland is really showing off in this photo, and I especially like the lovely blue colors seen in the ice in the foreground. I also like the low clouds, and how the fishing boat is adding interest. It is standing out so well, and I can even see the reflections from it in the shiny water.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details and textures in the ice and snow. The white balance and exposure is spot on.
The photo is nicely cropped, and I think it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo from this cold place Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

It's icy cold Greenland waters. I love the bluish hue on ice. Yes, the fishing boat is there in those ice cold waters to catch the prized species. It's an interesting composition and it's such a delight looking at this half frozen water body. Kudos

the weather was not cloudy;
the blue color appears very often because the warm red waves of the sun are blocked by water or ice in contrast to the blue rays;

Well captured with good focus, the image is clear, however it looks like a bit of a fog in the air.
Good use of the available light , colors and tones appear natural in this light ! I go out on our boat to fish all the time, never in the winter !
