Much humour here Pat he reminds me of how I walk somedays. But the shot is cool, unusual, and well timed. Good focus and centering. Fine natural colours and a sense of a story here.

They are fun to watch they walk in such an exaggerated way, leaning to the left and right as they step, my husband thinks they walk like vultures.
Thank you for your review! It is appreciated!

Such an unusual pose for an eagle. Maybe it's common for them, but uncommon for photographers to capture it. The stop-action is wonderful. The gray rocks and water are a bit of distraction from those "busy" patterned feathers, but when you shoot birds, you get the scenery where they land!

Thank you so much! Yes, it?s the beach with the sea plants left by the tide. Ths is where the eagles hang out.

a great stop action photo of this young eagle preparing to land on the beach. I love his plumage coloration, and impressive beak and talons, as well as that nice sharp eye partially obscured by the nictitating membrane. Must be a real thrill to see these majestic birds so often, thanks for sharing!

Nice image posted here Pat!! I really like these big birds of prey photos. They would make a great book, if you haven't already. The juviniles seem just as awkward as human teens, espeically with their colours. Your focus is perfect! The greens in the foreground really add interest. Do they have a film that covers their eyes? His eye looks like it has a covering on it. Well done!

What a clear capture of this juvenile eagle and its landing. Rather it looks like its posing after/at its landing. Wonderful capture of the scene.

A very nicely timed shot that captures the moment of landing perfectly. The detail in both the feet and the face are excellent and the colors are beautiful.

It's a perfectly timed shot. The juvenile eagle just about landing!! And it's such a lovely backdrop of weeds and other stuff left behind by the tide. It's a wonderful composition and makes for such a captivating viewing for any bird lover. Kudos
