Bird is so clear.His feathers stand out so well and beautifully. Light is perfect on bird. The post and barbwire are just right to add a bass.. and the faded background faded to not take away from the subject.

What a beautiful entry for this contest! The kestrel is gorgeous and I love its pose as it sits on the wooden post and looks back over its shoulder.
Well defined feathers, face and beak, beautiful , clear eye, well managed exposure , colors snd tones appear natural,
I actually like the wooden post with the barbed wire, it gives it that out in the country feel! The bird steps forward from the soft blue background . This is well composed and presented! Very best wishes to you in this contest!
