A beautifully balanced work that is so pleasing! The simple green background gives wonderful highlight to these butterflies. Their colors are well done and their various poses seem so natural. A great entry to the contest, best wishes!

This acrylic paper is very special with all these natural points - your creation and content is a good idea with three butterflies in such a special position that they look like leaves of the flower
your background color choice is perfect and your detailed work on the flowers and the animals are more than excellent - a nice presentation, all the best for the contest.

You did a fine line job with the simple, but pretty butterflies, and the simple foliage and slender simple branch or long stem. Especially for the first time. In a couple places, on the right side and bottom, material coming through, takes away only a tad. Still nice work.

That must be me trying to cut it so it fits on the frame for the photo lol,, thanks for noticing, its framed and of course you dont see that, but I wasnt sure that once it framed my name would show thus disqualifying me from the contest

This is a great piece and a nice entry for the contest. The background you chose helps draw the eye into the center of the piece. The colours are appropriate and well chosen. You have a variety of poses and positions for the butterflies. The only thing that I can see that could use improvement is the details in the wings of the monarchs. The dots are well placed, but the veins in the wings are not fine enough for their size. Try using a liner brush and thinning your paint a little with water or a fluid medium so that it goes on smoother when you are doing small details. Your presentation (picture on the site) could be cropped a little more too, something on the right is distracting and it takes away from your presentation (which counts for a lot in art)...All the best in the contest, thanks for sharing

oh thank you for the brush Idea ,, I will have to get one of those, like I say working on small details is not really my thing lol,, and the thing on the right is that my crop was not done I guess correctly, now that its framed though that doesnt show, but you cant put photos framed right? plus I signed it to frame it,

The light spot amplifies the butterflies and the red buds nicely. I appreciate your attention to realistic detail. Proportions and perspective are correct. This is such a beautiful depiction of three butterflies on a branch. I really love the colors you used on the butterflies are so delicate and beautiful. Such an incredible painting- these monarch butterflies are placed in such an enchanting composition. The green background with touch of yellow looks perfect!!
