I love your creativity with this shot. It must have taken some time. How were you able to cut the pieces without the ice melting? A really fine use of Mixed Media to create an image that is a joy to view.

Hi Donna, I took a close-up image of the icy crystals which were not in snowflake form and created some mixed media snowflakes. :o) You're right about it taking a LOT of time, but if you enjoyed it ....it was worth all the time spent creating it!:o) Merry Christmas! :o) Nancy

What a cool image you have created Nancy. The details in each snowflake are really well done. The composition and placement of each is great.
The touches of color add to the image and the blue swirl in the background is great.

Hi Cleo, Hope I didn't misguide you. There were a bunch of tiny flat crystals on the grass. I cut out the best area of the grassy field to create this. Knowing you think this would be a great print for a lot of different things means a lot! Knowing you think this is worthy of six stars is.... a wonderful Christmas present! Hi Carina, There's a lot of cutting involved and You need a Kaleidoscope filter. This was taken from a grassy field with small irregular pieces of ice covering it. I took out most of the grass. I also loved the fact there was a touch of frosty snow on the ice so I got clear areas and frosty ones. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thrilled by your six star review!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
