Wow- if ever there were a perfect fit for the category, this is it! The arched tunnel of lights is just beautiful, and interesting that it gets brighter as it goes back rather than dimmer. That makes the silhouettes really stand out. A very artistic capture. Good luck in the contest.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that nocturnal seasonal location. Colours, texture and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

This is such an amazing sight! The arch all lit up at night the people and the walkway are silhouetted making this a great entry for the contest .i love the way the lights outline the arch all the way back.
I see a tiny blue light in the silhouette in back on the left, I would remove it, it's easy to do.
This is well captured with good focus, the image is clear, not got lighting is well managed. I love the warm gold tones in the lights.
Well composed and presented!best wishes to you in this contest!

Beautiful photograph of this festive photograph with great details and good silhouette of people walking through the arches covered with Christmas lights.
Bright light and the angle this photograph was taken allows for a good depth of focus.
Overall very nice presentation.
Good luck in the contest.

Very cool capture. I like the silhouette people walking through the arch and twinkle lights.
I would suggest you clone out that one tiny cellphone light on the left.
Night photography is more about your lens choice. You need a fixed lens with an f/stop that is low. F/1.8 to F/2.8.
This allows you to use a lower ISO. I usually use ISO 500.
You managed to get a fine shot with your settings.
Nikon has older DX Fixed lenses made for the 35 film days, but work wonders on the digital DX and FX cameras.
I bought two old school fixed lenses to use for night / low light photography for myself and my brother. He has FX I still have a DX body camera.
They both work and we get excellent results.
Your ISO should never be higher that 1600 for night photography.
But that is when you have a lens that can go lower than F/4.
You did a fine job, my info is for your growth behind your lens.
One can still use a 70- 300 lens with an F stop as high as F/4.5 if they understand Kelvin settings and use a high ISO with low shutter under 200.
Any questions, send me a note here and I will gladly pass on the lens info.
;)
