Yes it is detailed work and you did an excellent job with in in acrylics, to ge the web lines that correctly, nicely. Like the clear color against the streaks of whites, purples, greens, and yellows in the background. Best wishes in the contest.

This came out beautifully,reminds me of the dew encrusted spider webs I sometimes see out in the fields,so very delicate and fragile looking, but very strong in reality. I can see the spider in the center waiting a meal to come it's way. I like the plant life also decorated with dew and the beautiful backdrop that nicely sets this web off. A lovely entry for this contest,wish you all the best!

Hi Lise , There is nothing as pretty as a spider web with dewdrops resting on it. The web looks like a sparkling jewel encrusted with diamonds. You did an incredible job showing that in your painting. The web alooks exactly the way you'd expect to see it in1 nature. 1It looks very delicate and lovely. This was well worth the time it took you to paint. Wish I had a six to bless it with. :o) Nancy

I can see the time and thought you have applied here, the wed is so well created with such amazing detail and I am impressed at how you kept the pattern so consistent in its size, I am not able to even draw a good stick person, I love also the background colors you used here to give a sense of depth as well as making the web stand out!
I think this is an excellent entry for this contest ! If I had a six left I would certainly have given it for this piece!

My Mom was an antic vaccer, and when it came time to ask my doctor what I should do he said I could not get any vaccines, I could not travel freely as I could contract Polio for example, If I get in contact with someone who has the mumps, which I never caught as a child I could be very sick, and those deseases are now coming back because of anti vaccers, I made sure my children got all their shots and really believe in them. So yeah I took this vaccine, I think you may have your own opinions but its the non vaccinated that fuel this virus to go on and mutate
