This review is the first time in 35 years of looking at photographic and traditional art and had the distinct pleasure of having reviewed a post that may have led to this fine rendition I see posted here - thank you.

Without a doubt you got the geometry of the web very close to the one I saw in the photo post. I love the blurred background it causes the viewers eye to focus on the web and the spider. The condition of the web is consistent with a heavy dew or rain- gives the piece impact. The spiders contrasting color stands out but does not dominate the scene.

Your painting is interesting. The small spider at the center of the web seems to wait patiently for its pray. It looks as if the web collected dew drops which glitter in the sunlight. The colors of the abstract background emphasize the spider and its web profoundly. The painting is well composed. The spider is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
