The thing I like about this scene is the contrast between the warmer pastel colors of the background sky and the cold frosty look of the foreground.
The trees give such a wonderful look and feel of fridge temperatures. The air is still and the cold is difficult to describe.
Nice scene Pat. Unfortunately here in Mexico the temperatures are stuck in the mid 70's with a gentle breeze and clueless blue skies. Oh how I wish I was in bone chilling weather...not

This is an amazing photograph my friend wow beautiful seen this looks like a postcard so gorgeous. I love the beautiful background and the trees with the snow it's absolutely stunning. It does look cold, you captured a very atmospheric scene. The glow sends out rays of lines that depend to the frozen ground, a saviour showing warmth in its glow but never felt. Beautiful ethereal and symbolic of a cold winters end of day.

Your capture is excellent. I can almost feel the cold air, but the winter landscape has a special eternal beauty. The frozen landscape kin frond of the colored sky looks solemn and eternal. Hi Pat, There is nothing quite as pretty as the combo of ice or snow covering the branches of trees or bushes on a winter landscape. This scene has an added bonus of a breathtaking sunset. The shot is gorgeous! Love the touch of blue sky too! In my eyes this is so worthy of a six star review! :o) Nancy
