I can recognize your pics Steve just from the unique color of the sunset; certainly due to the "numerous filters" you have used;
what I mostly like in this pic is the capture of the water splash at the bottom;

Thanks a lot Fred for your very Generous review. Yes I like to play with the sunsets to set a certain mood. As always I have to use burst mode on my phone to capture the splashes and foam.

Is this an area you have been before Steve,not that it matters i like the position of your camera in getting this a it shows enough of the ocean to see its power but do like the rocks also play a huge part in this,good one...Brian

I can't find anything negative to say about this photo Steve. It is just beautiful, and with such a strong visual impact. The sunset is indeed out of this world with the strong and warm colors, and the splashing water is so well captured. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of the rocks.
The photo is also very sharp with such clear and well defined details to be seen all through, and the exposure is spot on. The colors are crisp and clear.
The format and framing is perfect, and your vantage point could not have been better. It is a very good balance in the composition. I think I look at this forever. This is a truly beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
Just so you know, I would have given this photo 6 stars if I had any left.

I am so impressed by the way you have stopped the motion in the white frothy splashes with such perfect timing to capture them as they are moving upward! The large rocks provide a perfect canvas to showcase the splashes . I like also that bit of golden light right in the foreground .the surface of the water is full of action too !
Moving out I see the sun is just about to set , it's perfectly placed to the left of center and look at that vivid orange glow surrounding it ! The clouds on the right led the eye to the sun. The clouds up in the sky tell a story of their own in the interesting patterns they create.
This is well captured with spot in focus, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, all colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed with such good depth. Well presented! This is truly a pleasure to view!
