This is a lovely clear capture of your beautiful cat that is now passed. He indeed does seem to be wondering what is above. Your image is enhanced by the pretty surrounds of flowers and grass. A nice central shot which is well presented. All the best in the contest Jack!

This is a great shot of a lovely kitty-cat boy. I have to wonder if he was in poor health when he passed. I had a beautiful, young tuxedo cat just drop dead one day. He was in seemingly excellent health, but just dropped dead. The vet said he must have had a heart problem that was never detected. Lovely pose and nicely shot photo!

He was not in pure health he got choked on my rose bushes that was a little close to him while my wife was in the house on the phone. Thanks for your review. JackJr.

Awwwe!, cats are creatures that are so amazing, I had one that I could write a book on all her adventures, she lived outside, refused to come indoors and had a great life of 24 years. I love the look of this one, reminds me of some of my cats I had as a kid. They really do love the outdoors.

That is odd if you changed the color to black and white as I am viewing it in color??? Anyway it is a nice capture as the cat ponders the universe on a very pretty background of the lawn with little white flowers.

Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. Even the silky whiskers and single hairs of his coat are sharp. The cat is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

You have pictured this lovely cat so well sitting in a field of white clover, and I like the way it is looking up. Perhaps it was a bird up there ? I once had a cat as well, and he was probably just as spoiled as yours. It is lovely the way the light is falling on your cat.
It is also standing out sharp and well defined against the softened background, and the exposure is perfect. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of the fur.
I am not saying that the format and framing isn't fine, but I think the composition would have been even better if you had a cropped a bit off the left side. It is a lovely and well taken photo Jack, and I wish you luck with the contest.
