Congratulations on your win my friend. You deserve a "6" with such a skilled presentation from your outstanding photography. Beautiful capture of a beautiful subject with that red-roofed building and beautiful red flowers to match. The lights dancing upon the grounds and mountains is beautiful also.

Very lovely photograph with lots of elegant colors of reds, orange, and yellows throughout the mountain top. Great clarity and presentation with awesome detail in the building of red. Great job. Thanks for sharing.

lovely photo. Is the roof red from rust or paint or something else? You are right, it is lovely. I am amazed that some adventurous soul hasn't taken the house over and made it into a home again.. and planted a self sufficient garden with goats around it..

Very stunning colors and clear photo! I like the way the roof and redish ground cover seem to have the same shade of coral orange. The sun on the gold on the background makes one admire the natural gold tones. I wonder what the mine would have been like. Natural gold in caves can be beautiful, but I suppose this gold was not mined from caves...

This is a wonderful scenic view. Wonder who lives in that eye=catching house in a remote place!:) You have framed it well. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing!

love the colors in this, I can see why you like coming here in the fall, what a spectacular view! The building with it's red roof and trim really catches the eye, along with the red flowers/vegetation leading to it and scattered about the landscape. you have nicely framed it so that the mountain peak repeats the slant of the roof and to a degree, the roofline. Great depth of field and excellent exposure to balance both light and shadow areas!

This is incredibly beautiful shot. I love this vibrant red against the sun kissed gold of the surroundings. For a structure to be abandoned for seven decades in such a secluded condition, it's remarkable the way it looks in the photograph. It's a gorgeous postcard kind of click tempting me to use it as a reference for one of my future artworks!! Kudos and my six stars

Wow what an amazing scene and someone must look after the building for it to look that good. Love the colors, one would say there is gold in them hills even if it is purely the autumn coloring. Okay bad joke - great work and enjoyable to view.

I think this is exceptional Pat. The composition is lovely and well thought out the eye for drama you have by bringing the red roofed building as an focal point.... the backdrop mountains have, added drama. The colours are gorgeous and natursl looking.

A wonderful capture Pat! I love the balance that you have created with the building and its driveway that lend excellent highlight to the tall mountain. The colors are spectacular!
