This is very pretty. I like the colours of fruit you used. The angle is slightly off centre in the frame.
Something about the light doesnt feel right. Sort of a dull light.

You have produced a captivating, very appetizing, and most importantly- a healthy oriented photograph. I relish all these fruits that you have depicted, and regularly include them as part of my meals. I can easily visualize myself reaching out and taking a handful of grapes and reveling in the juiciness as I eat them.

You have produced a captivating, very appetizing, and most importantly- a healthy oriented photograph. This looks really tasty with the freshness of the colorful fruit, and they are so nicely arranged in a crystal bowl. I do however think this still life would have been even better without the fruit on front of the bowl. If you had placed them together with the piece of banana close to the bowl, it would have worked as well.
I especially like the all neutral background, and how lovely the light is falling on the fruit, and also the crisp and clear colors.
The photo is also sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in all the fruit, and the exposure is perfect.
I think the format and framing is fine, but a landscape format would probably have been even better. Still I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Glena, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you, artist friend avmurray. I originally just gathered these together to choose some of them from painting although I have a better still-life painting in oil. But I do agree with you and if I ever do this one, I'd not have the banana standing with stem up. Thanks again.

Thank you, dear friend. I'd photographed sometime back when my better camera was working. But I just arranged and captured so I'd have to draw/paint sometimes. You are so encouraging.
