This really is a beautiful shot of the giant windmill.I'm glad to see that the silhouette is not just a black hole, but the objects are recognizable and have a life of their own. The light and shadows are awesome Finely composed and timed this makes interesting viewing!

A good looking image of this silhouetted windmill. The reflection in the water really makes this one special. The monochrome colors add to the mood of the scene.

Nice shot here for this contest. The silhouette of the windmill is very well placed within the frame. I find them very interesting, like they have a story to tell since they have been there for so long. The reflection is pretty as are the clouds. All the best in the contest

Seeing your photo, I thought of Don Quichote. It is funny how my mind associates unrelated subjects. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused and exposed. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail and texture. The dark silhouettes are in interesting contradiction with the colors of the sky and its reflection. Your photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This is a fine entry into a contest like this, and I share your fascination for windmills. I especially like the fine shine and ripples you have captured in the water, and also how nicely the sky is reflected in it.
The photo is sharp and the silhouetted windmill is standing out sharp and well defined against the lovely sky. The all over light is fine, but the sun on the right is a bit blown out.
The format and framing is fine, and in this case it looks good with the windmill centered. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Ray, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
