Wow ! This is such a powerful piece! The way you show this woman with the various shapes to show that she has been damaged is amazing.
Excellent use of colors and various patterns both in the woman and in the background .
Over use of alcohol does indeed cause damage both to the person who consumes it as well as the family of that person.
Well presented!

thank you. One night of what they called fun at the beginning ends in a life time's tragedy and not just for her. Her mum, a lovely woman, has to care for her now.

Pat what gets me is that they call it ''having fun''. A lot of what people class as ''fun'' I just can't see it?! It is probably something missing in me or a different culture. Once Long ago, after my ex dumped us, some 37 yrs ago, my eldest son left a bottle of whisky at a christmas visit and left again, as we had no food or heating, I used to sit painting after the smaller kids had gone to bed, all night- and a couple of nights later, thought I would try it. I had a glass, three in all. Alcohol is terrible. I was sick, wanted to cry, blabbed a load of nonsense It was horrible and next day had a headache to kill. If that is fun, they can keep their fun!! I never drank more than a glass of babycham very occasionally. Maybe it is me?

It?s not you, I agree , I might have a drink if I go out to dinner but getting sloppy drunk is not my style, and there is no way that it?s fun! I can?t stand to be around drunk people !

In my opinion, doing anything in excess is evil.If we can control our brain and direct our thoughts towards spirituality, the would will be a better place to live. I enjoyed your colourful painting. Thanks for sharing!
