Hi Mary! This is a beautiful cormorant and it is also one that I have not seen before. It is perfectly placed within the frame, it stands out from the muted green toned background. I can see such clear detail in both the white and the black feathers, it has a well defined bill and a perfect clear eye complete with the nice reflective glint.
Well focused, sharp, clear image with perfect exposure!
This is outstanding ! Seriously I am impressed! Colors and tones appear natural. What a lovely pose it has offered you! Well composed and presented!

Cormorants always make me think of the long extinct 'Hesperornis'-a six foot long aquatic Avian which might have been an ancestor of modern day penguins!
