The whole concept of digital art confuses me to no end, but you my friend have appeared to have mastered this art form. The background is particularly stunning and I love your eye for color and the contrasting placements of birds and insects. Overall this is a well balanced and eye pleasing piece. Wish I had a sixth star to award you.. I believe it will do very well in the upcoming contest. Good luck to you and best wishes for success,

~CJ~

Thank you for you kind, complimentary review! Vector digital art is a bit of a trial in my opinion, but i have a few issues with injuries to my hands that make it less of a trial to maneuver a mouse than a pencil, pen or brush , and so it goes! (Adobe Illustrator doesn't like handling this much original detail, but the program has actually been improved in recent months making it a bit easier.) Thank again for your thoughtful review!

Goodness I am humbled -- and also very appreciative as I do not know that I am going to try doing too many more of these due to computer memory issues and so on. If you would you like a free copy just send me your email to daphneoberon@gmail.com...

A good looking image posted here into the competition. Your fine and classical composition grants us an enjoyable view of those lovely birds, blooms and butterflies. Colours and tones are good. Nicely created and good luck!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and appreciation! I resort to composing digital vector art due to old injuries to my hands... its a challenge as well though, so I am not sure how many more I will do, so very glad you enjoyed it! Thank you again

For your ability to create such a complicated but fresh work. Well it looks complicated to do but it has a fresh simplicity. The colours are working so well together giving this a certain delicacy. Size of your various creatures are in realistic proportion to the foliage and tree stem. I love the glow from the sun as it seems to touch all.

Thanks you so much again. Yes I think you know I have had injuries to my hands and this is the only reason I taught myself to do digital art. But the fact that the complex creations (digitally) that I like to do take up so much memory really has cramped my style, so to speak... One of these days maybe I 'll afford a powerful mac computer which is what the professionals use, lol... I am not likely to try and do anything like this again as things stand... So glad you liked it and thank you so much for the extra star! It will probably be it for the year!!

Oh I hope we see more. And you don't need a big Mac. My daughter dies it all professionally and she made her co.puter up but she got me a ready made from HP. I will ask her advice for your type of memory need.

Oh thank you! My most complex originals can be nearly a gigabit in size because I create my own stuff and the program hates that!!!...

As I've mentioned : I dunno' ANYTHING about 'digital art' or the programs used in the creation of it but I'm still having a fine time looking at this 'Bright and Dreamy' example of it that you've presented us with! : )
It's a 'Good Show',my friend!

This piece seems to be glowing, like it is sitting on top of light box. The subtle colours mixed gently within the clouds. The birds and butterflies are pretty. I could see this painted in a mural, it is very calming. Thanks for sharing

This is dreamy, fairy-like lovely digital painting. What can I write? You did a wonderful, actually superb job. The colors are vivid and meshed so well together, except the darker blue in the top corner kinda strays from the softness of the other items, colors. The birds and especially the butterfly and the head of the bird perched on the middle limb are realistic. In this style is is simply gorgeous.

Thank you so much, Glena! The only reason I taught myself to do digital art is because I have had injuries to my hands. So glad you liked it; due to computer memory limitations this could be it for a while on anything new of this nature.. Thank you again!!

Welcome. Thanks for sharing. Do you work with a stylus or does it work differently?
reply by the author on 02-Feb-2022
Vector art works differently. I use a laptop and mouse creating more like a mathematical building of imagery; its not at all like regular art..

Daphne, this is gorgeous! It's so happy and uplifting to view, it's light and airy , there is such a feeling of freedom here! The three quetzals are so pretty in the bright green plumage with the red breasts, I like their shape and structures and their placement within the scene, it's a beautiful colorful bird that is flying up above the tree and love the two blue winged butterflies that call attention to the bit of blue sky in upper left and that colorful bird with blue wings in flight. The sky is so soft and in such pretty pastel tones . The tree is well constructed and I love the yellow blossoms that grow on it .
This is well created, beautifully arranged and presented! This was truly a pleasure to view!

Thank you so much, Pat! I think you already know that the only reason I taught myself to do digital art is because I have had injuries to my hands that make it frustrating to try and use a pencil or brush. So glad you liked it; due to computer memory limitations this might he it for a while on anything new of this nature.. Thank you again for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review and for the extra star when there are so many other worthy candidates!!

A very nice painting, the colors are glowing and the are nicely blended The birds and the butterflies work nicely. The background makes all the other color standout especially the yellows and greens. good luck.
