I like this seen, almost feel crisp air and touch of the snow. Trees are nice too and air is cold. Wish it could be once like this in California

Sense of newness, purity and calmness from the picture. Peacefulness. High resolution, we can see nearly each and every branches with light white snow. Very refreshing.

Then, why such a low ranking? Shouldn't it be at least a 4.5, most have given a "5" and several a "6". PLease let me know. I am an artist more than a photographer, but as you said this is refreshing.... I took it seeral years back when it snowed in the south that March, around the first day of Spring. Don't believe I've a had a review from you. You indicate good things but give a low rating and no mention of how to improve.

You write nice thing; yet, you give a bad rating. Why? MKost have given a 5, a few 6s on this. I notice you just joined. Look at some of my other works, Glena Jessee-King, please and hope you will upgrade this. This is your first review of me. At a "4" you need to say how to improve but you give no indication of anything that can be made better.

This is a very beautiful capture of the heavy fresh load of snow you experienced lately. Your capture of so much white is a difficult one but has succeeded and we can enjoy that lovely scene of pathway through the snowed under trees. The angle is great as I see you have caught the sun low down centre which adds a certain softness.

I am in Lùbeck.. Germany at the moment. I have a German husband. I also have a home in Newcastle England where my daughter lives. Also a one room studio on an Island in Portugal. So a bit of a traveller on a shoestring. We had trimaran that was anchored in Portugal and sailed from Portugal to the Canary Islands and Madeira. We had fun and adventures. All after I retired in 2008. I started taking up my art about 2016. Self taught but at the moment doing some courses.

This looks like home to me! We just has a snow storm here!
I like the way the snow covers the trees and the ground .
Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is good, well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you so much, artist friend. I know Alaska is beautiful in its winter wonderland, especially at this time of year. You all have a number of fine animal species I understand.

Not so unusual if you live in Norway, but I suppose it depends on where you live. The nature looks so beautiful after a snow fall, and in this photo it is completely untouched. I especially like the light coming through the trees in the background.

The photo is sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in all the trees. The white balance and exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is fine, and it is a good balance in the composition. It is a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Yes, it is according to where you live. And I live in Virginia, down south. Do you live in the beautiful Norway? Thank you for your kind review.

Yes, I am Norwegian and live in Norway. I can fully understand that snow like this is unusual in Virginia. You are more than welcome for the review.

Your location is interesting. Thanks again. No, it is not a usual occurrence in Virginia--down South, especially when Spring is at hand, just happened.

Good eye for seeing this scene and skill for capturing it. The snows are my favorite as the snow turns all the bare tree branches into magical lines and textures which are not seen without the snow.

Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the judging.

This is a beautiful snow covered landscape! The cool blue tint of the photo is lovely. I like how the snow is piled up on the branches of the trees.

This winter wonderland is beautiful. How the snow clings to the trees, is interesting. The light through the trees at the background is appealing. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Thanks for entering my contest. Im not sure where you live but alot of states got clobbered with this blizzard. I wanted to go to the woods but it was too treacherous to walk on the road to the opening. i can hear the quietness of the snow fall and i can imagine how you sank up to your knees adventuring in.

Cute. Thank you. This was in March about 3 or more years. We hadn't had a snow that winter till spring. We have had a couple this year but nothing like you have probably or like that March this snow is pictured in. Nice contest. Thank you and glad I was able to enter.
