It's a nice view of the golden fall foliage in Cades Cove Jack.
Unfortunately the sky is blown where the white sky shows in upper center and the yellows are blown loosing the crisp details of the leaves. By saturating the colors you increased the color temps which cause the blown colors.
All colors have a temperature and it's critical when behind the lens to get White balance correct.
If your camera does not have Kelvin scale, then it's important to keep F/stop, ISO low to avoid this.

The trees are beautiful! I live about 45 minutes away from Cades Cove, but I have only driven through there once when I was in college. After your discription of what there is to see I must make the trip. Did you go to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well?

When I look at this Photo I feel as if I was actually there, it would be so quiet and peaceful. The angle in which this photo was taken makes me feel Im walking threw a tunnel of trees that could go on forever. I wish there was a bit more four ground included in the picture though. Maybe could have been cropped differently.

This landscape is gorgeous. The golden shine of the autumn-colored trees is mesmerizing. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. I like how the path lead the eyes of the viewers into the background. Tour photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Hey Jack,

I love Cades Cove. I live about an hour from there. The rive through is great, although it is sometimes Full of cars and takes a while to get through.

The colors in the Fall are so spectacular. Love it that time of year.

Your photo is great. The yellows of the Sugar Maples just is unimaginable to explain as you know.

The one thing about the scene is that the yellows are a bit over blown in the center and lose a bit of clarity and detail. The sky is also just a bit blown out and too bright.

The trees on the left and right make for perfect framing elements. Love it. The details are great.

Great POV for this shot. It gives a good perspective for the scene.

I miss the cove and need to get back up there.

Thanks a lot for posting this Jack and I hope it encourages others to come and visit ~ Steve

This is a beautiful image! The colours are stunning! I like the way you have framed the shot and left a gap for the light in the center. Very well done, thanks for sharing
