Beautiful painting. Also kind of trippy. I had a roommate who was into painting. Crazy man, the whole year I lived there I never painted with him. I mean maybe once or twice but never really did anything hardcore. It was cool though because I seen him scrape with a knife n we was all tripping on acid n the way he did it n the paint changed colors all crazy. Thank u for sharin.

Interesting impressionistic work with acrylics on paper.
Your story amongst the lines of your detailed description add a lot to the bigger picture. I like your chosen colors and pallet knife strokes.

Ray, earlier I was having issues with my contact lenses and now I am seeing this more clearly! The look of reflective lights on the water is excellent!

a very colourful composition, almost abstract in format,Your application of paint with the palette knife is very well done throughout, with excellent and varied use of palette knife face and edges

Niel, thank you for the fine review. Yes, this an abstract. I usually don't have a subject, that develops as I go. Ray G.

I am not even sure what this is...a photo...a painting? Not sure and it is too much for the eyes to look at...no focus point....I do like the colors though...

Thank you for reviewing my painting, I am glad you liked the colors used. You are right about a focal point, it is an abstract painting. I am disappointed that the painting was too much for you to look at and enjoy. Ray Gordon

Enjoy your so very impressionistic painting, At the Pond. Love the detail you instilled into the pond that propels the observer to go anywhere, to so many different places. For this reason, your pond is also abstract. Anyone's pond anywhere such as pond in Louisiana. Colors are very appropriate and see, feel the algi Great image Ray G and thanks for sharing.

Love the colors that you have used for this artwork Ray. The plants and various things in the water of the pond are shown well giving a great idea of the complexity of pond life.

This is a very readable abstract that invites you to keep on looking and seeing... it has that aquatic substance feel as you look. Your colour pallet is working well for the theme. Lucky you and your life with water. Good notes. Very interesting.

This looks like ponds around my house. Colors all over the place. Nothing is neat. But everything has that controlled thrown around look.Nice blue reflection

I really like your notes about your love for ponds, and even if this an abstract, I can clearly see it when I lean back and see it from a distance. I can also see that were think of your favorite time of the day when you painted this by the orange glow coming through.

It is an intriguing color pallet you have used, and I really like the contrast between the blue and orange hues. This painting is also filled with great textures, lines and shapes. You are a master with your palette knife.

The panorama format is perfect, and it is a fine flow and balance in the composition. I think this a great looking and well done abstract Ray.
