Your Anchorage Park image reminds me so much of where we live now in West Virginia. In the Apalachin Mountains. Days are getting longer now, was dark by 5 PM, Now around 6 PM. Beautiful sunset You captured, love the glow and crispness of air that you caught also. Great spot to take a picture though I would stay right there, never know what might jump out at me close to the trees lol. Thank You for sharing.

Really cool winter shot in your aea. Even thought it is a winter scene, the glow of the sunset just warms one up. I like the composition of 2/3 sky and 1/3 land and trees. It just speaks of AK or MN for that matter. Well done.

I have virtually visited Alaskan natural grandeur, courtesy your wide ranging clicks covering all times of the year. This is another stunningly beautiful shot- the sunset skies are just so dramatic in deep crimson hues. I love the contrast of icy white in the park with burning orange in the skies!! The colors are a wonderful fiery red with nice textures. The sun is well placed just above the horizon.
The foreground of snow covered trees makes for a great element to frame and emphasize the sunset.
