This is a very fine shot of an alligator sauntering, not going to fast, not too many ripples, in the clear water. the shot is well balanced but if you can, next time include the whole tail. Good luck in the contest.

A good looking entry posted here into the competition!Your fine full and appropriate composition grants us a good look at that croc. Reckon your distance judgement was good. Nicely done!

Very professionally photographed. I guess that is what those pop up eyes are for -- looking for dinner, lol! I guess they can hunker down in the shallows with only the eyes peering out above the surface of the water.

I wouldn't go close either. That crocodile looks as if it wants me for supper. It looks as if the animal swims. I see some little waves beside it. The stop-in-action is excellent. That we see some parts of the body beneath the water surface is interesting. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. The panorama format emphasizes the forward motion of the crocodile. The animal is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

You have indeed pictured this Croc well, and I especially like how well we can see its body under water. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of the skin. It is clear ripples to be seen from the swimming Croc, and it is standing out from the water in an excellent way.

The photo is sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. The exposure is perfect, and the colors look nice and natural.

I also like the format you have cropped the photo into, and the slight diagonal placement of the Croc within the frame. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Where's lunch is a great title for this one. It's a hungry crocodile swimming so smoothly through the water.
Well captured with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear
natural.
Well composed and presented!
Best wishes to you in this contest!

Woah!! This guy is scary looking. I am not sure I would want to be that close to him...were you in a boat? Great details captured in his rich textured skin. The colours and tones are natural and your exposure is great. Thanks for sharing
