It is indeed a fine action scene you have pictured here, and I especially like the limited color pallet, and also how well you have done the reflection form the Osprey. A nice touch is that we can see the fish under water.
The bird is done paying a very good attention to details, and you have also used high lights well. Perhaps just a tad too much on the reflection.
The format and framing is perfect, and the Osprey has got a fine placement off to the left. Nicely balanced by the bird in flight on the right. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. It is a lovely and well done digital painting Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

You and I both seem to appreciate a limited color palette. I think it looks less busy that way. And the 6 rating, many thanks for that.

This is gorgeous, so soft and flowing. Fanciful! Tje bords are well drawn as is the water, horizon, and sky. The fine digital art also contains very fine reflection or play, symbolism.

I get to see Ospreys often on my drive to and from work. They hang out high up on the telephone poles or lights that are along the road with a canal near by. When they catch a fish they eat it high up on the Pole.
Great work Allan on both the ospreys and the reflection.

Yes, I figured you would routinely see ospreys. We see them occasionally in MN, but more so when we winter in FL. Thanks.
