wow Ray i missed this one. i saw it on the announcement today. i had to check it out. so very cool. the facial is great. the lettering is great. the line shading is great. the depth is great. the details is great. the creation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. creative and congrats on the 3rd place spot. that is still awesome..for a decade i never could place in this contest so i just wouldnt bother with it this year..you did awesome bro(thumbs up)

A very commendable illustration for an Appeal. I like that you chose the American Shot construction. The details are intricate. The scene is emotional. Skillfuly drawn. A good presentation. My realising of line art is simple lines in uninterrupted application... this has a different interpretation but I see how that is still true only an alternative. I think this will do well.

A very commendable illustration for an Appeal. I like that you chose the American Shot construction. The details are intricate. The scene is emotional. Skillfuly drawn. A good presentation. My realising of line art is simple lines in uninterrupted application... this has a different interpretation but I see how that is still true only an alternative. I think this will do well.

I think you have rendered this very well Ray , allowing a glimpse into what this young girl is having to endure. I like the flowers on her head, to me that shows that they are staying hopeful and not giving up!

Thanks for the message of your fine drawing. The theme deserves a "6"; parts of the drawing a "5"; and a few parts a 4.5 due to crookedness of the doors in the lower image and other unfinished. But it is still very nice line and curve, circle drawing.

I like when you think of 5 or 6. There are no doors, all windows. When you have to decide forget about a 4.5, Go for the 6 or 5. I am sure my artist friend would agree.
