The colors look really great and complement each other the detail in the basket looks really nice. I like the little bird above the girl. The girl also has great detail.

Well queen let me be the first to welcome you to FAR. May all of your adventures are successful. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will reply. Now about this review. The review is nice and detailed. However, I realized that you are new and really understand the star rating system. Now if this work was outstanding then you would give 6 stars. If it's great and don't suggest any improvements then 5 stats..if the work is good but need some improvements then give it 4 1/2 stars..kinda like what you have given me. No I don't need any improvement and I know your new on this rating system so I'm not mad. It's a learning process. Thanks for the review

How COOL! Best wishes to you both in your literary venture. The cover with it's bold colors definitely makes a great first impression with the little girl waving to catch everyone's attention, and readers are in for a real treat when they look inside and see your fantastic cartoons. Love the surprised look on the cardinal's face as it sees the balloon invading it's airspace. Should be a bestseller!

The changing shades of blue on the right side is kind of distracting, as well as the positioning of the bird. I think the girl's figure could benefit by some more of your great red shading. Those are my thoughts. What a fun project you are doing! Way to pursue your dreams!!

Well I disagree about the red. See Heather y'all artist like to be creative and express yourself with so many ideas in so many ways. However, we cartoonist and illustrators (good ones) will listen to our client what they are looking to tell a story that translate to their reader. First of all when its a cover like any shelf product must be eye catching. I'm sure you have shopped in stores your eye is captured by many different kinds of labels when you are shopping. So I really don't even agree to the harsh stars awarded as well. Now if the work is excellent.the reviewer would award 6 stars. If the work is good and need no improvements then 5 stats ..if the work is good and need some minor improvements then 4 1/2 stars..if the work is ok and needs a whole lot of improvements then you would give them 4 stars like you have given me. Sorry I just don't agree. Don't worry no matter how you review my work I will still give you a better and impartial review of your work than you have given me. So I thank you for your time and if I can help you navigate thru this site please holler. I will be glad to help. Wink

the book has over 40 of my illustrations..after couple of years i can now sing the ole Greatful Dead lyric from the song "trucking"...singing "what a long strange trip its been!" lol..thanks for the awesome review.
