Interesting painting, like the snow, and the red house. Animals are great but could have done with the dogs portrait being on a separate canvas. I have never seen a raccoon. Hope to see more of these animal paintings of yours.

Thank you, artist friend. It is amazing the different areas we understand and/or see regarding our surroundings. I have learned and enjoyed several things from you also, your life being so interesting with good and and some sad experiences. Thanks for sharing. I shall never forget. Happy Easter and be blessed.

Very inventive. I like the dog facing you which makes no sense but maybe that's why I like it. Love the poor raccoon in the tree and the waging tail of the dog. Great job

Thank you. I just wished to show the dog's face forward. Appreciate your review.

This is an intriguing painting. The expressions of Dog and the Raccoon are cute. Those two seem involved in a game rather than in a hunt. The handsome landscape at the background is interesting. Your painting would do well as illustration in a book of stories read by the entire family at the fireplace of a cozy cabin. Your attention to realistic detail and color is impressive. The painting is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you so much, artist friend Cleo. I did it in oil on canvas several years back as a comission purchased by a girl for her guy.

Minor minor was not necessary, that is for mixed media and photography. This and oil painting, very nicely done. I like the insert with the dog's face, nice touch. This is good story to tell. Minor fuzziness on the left leg, but no biggie. Good luck in the contest. RyaG.

My beagle was such a cool. Dog that when he was bored he would find moles and dig em to bring them to me. I didn't realize I had any moles till then. Sadly my snoopy is no longer with us. I do miss him. Nice creation. The dogs and coons body form and language is great. The details is great. The depth is great. The shading is great. The blend of the colors is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and awesome work overall.

This is definitely a perfect work of art that shows the cold of winter. Really beautifully done. I also find it comical. Love the beautiful soft colors you've used to create the scene. Terrific work my friend and I wish you luck in the contest.

Thank you. It is a dog that trees and hunts racoons. It is part beagle and hound I think. This guy liked and had coon dogs sent the pictures. I like to draw and paint animals, not hunt them but, well, some guys and gals like for sports, don't hurt, I don't think, hope not.

This is very cool, love that wagging tail, with the racoon looking a little perturbed, love the red buildings in the snow as well, a well painted winter scene

I love animals and these three ones are we created and specially positioned as even this huge face in the distance is excellent - a wonderful idea and great creative combination with this huge tree on the left side - your color choice is natural and wonderful this time, awesome result, thanks for sharing xoxo
