Beautiful shot!! I love th3 look if this lone black bird. His bright red wing stands out nicely. The reed he is sitting on, with its nice creamy colour creates a nice contrast. Beautifully composed, background is nicely blurred. Well done!!

A beautiful picture of the male Red-wing Blackbird perched on what looks like the seed head of Pampas Grass his head turned watching you. The light catching the sparkle in his eye, the shine on his beak while highlighting his plumage & red & yellow epaulettes. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The colors of the bird are impressive. Its distinctive markings on the stand well from the black feathers of the wings. The photo is well composed. The bird is excellent placed within the frame. The diagonal presentation of the reed grass pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. The composition is balanced.
