Thisis a great photo of this Clark's Miner Bee. The iridescence of the wings captures the viewers attention immediately.
The clarity is such that we can see the pollen sacs. The green background accentuates the bee which is well positioned in the frame.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on the Clark's Miner Bee..the leaf was on s plant ( the shape similar to a Mint) I need to attempt to identify next time I'm on the river. It's not a Willow leaf.

Bees have long antenna & four wings. Flies have short antenna & only 2 wings.
