A stunning presentation of this unusual blue Poppy. I also haven't ever seen a blue coloured Poppy. I love the orange stamens and yellow centre which gives a wonderful contrast. Really nice light and shading. Thanks for sharing Pat!

Wow I have never seen a blue Poppy - yes I am back missed you guys so will give this another try - love the full screen view and you have captured the texture of the petals well with perfect focus on center of flower.

Is this an Hymalayan Blue Poppy? Its gorgeous if it is or not. Your fine angle gives a very artistic view. The centre is wonderfully highlighted. It a super photo to see this. I saw them growing wild in fields many years ago.

I can see why this poppy's color is your favorite. It is truly beautiful. Focus and clarity are excellent showing great detail. The color contrast between the flower petals and stamens is striking.

The reason I gave your photo a six is the way you have the inside of the flower. The orange pops out with the background of blue. Than you have a shadows on the flower.Beautiful.
