Hi Ray, I like the bamboo! I'm picturing a windy day with the bamboo fluttering in the wind. One minute you can see blue sky and the next the bamboo completely blocks the view. It's funny what certain images make you see. I know if I was a kid I'd be having fun playing hide and seek in that bamboo! :o) Nancy

So far I think is my favorite of your paintings that I've reviewed!
There is so much movement and your paint strokes are light and free flowing.
I like the variations of color in the foliage and the splash of blue.

Great use of diagonals to show husks of the bamboo (I assume that's what they are). I really like this style because of the naturalistic and pleasant feeling it conveys. Great job.

This is so well created Ray, I can see the bamboo leaves but still it has the abstract appeal, for me it's a sunset over water in back and the bamboo that appears to be blowing in the wind in foreground , love the diagonal lines from right to left and the way they cross cross with the leaves! Very well chosen colors too!
