You have a way of such succinct description of the subject; really night at that! Liked the narrative as well, artist friend, Susan. The colors of water and river path complement one another. Lovely bird too.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this male Grey Wagtail busy collecting flies in flight as it swirls over the river landing on the bank after each flight.

A beautiful nature capture Susan! This Gray Wagtail is a beauty and your shot showing him gathering insects for the babies is interesting. Wonderful natural colors and excellent placement within the frame makes him look fabulous! The edging is well done. Taken with great skill to bring out the best!

Your photo is interesting. It looks as if the bird caught a bee for its children. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The bird is expertly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Dear Susan, this is again a very nice bird picture as he is looking to jump into the water and your angle and position is excellent as you were even very close so everything is in perfect harmony with this special ground and water, and I love again the bird color combinations making it again attractive, thanks for sharing it, xoxo

    Regina,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Grey Wagtail with a beakful of flies that it catches on the wing. It was on it's way back to his nest to feed it's fledglings. They "Dance" on the waters surface rather than going under water.

Yes. Mother's duty to feed her children! A fine looking presentation. Has emotional content. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!
