I do like those flame like petals and the soft low key style of lighting used here.

very cool AV. the background does enhance the flower. the angle of the shot of this colorful flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and awesome work overall.

Lovely image of the beautiful Tulip in your garden, Annie. I have several varieties of Tulips in my garden and love their different shapes. This is certainly a spectacular one and I like the darkened background which adds to the impact. Excellent camera techniques. I like how you placed the Tulip in the frame. This is a stunning image!! The colours are so rich!! The details in the petals are stunning!! It is nicley placed in the frame and makes for a great composition with its petals splayed out like that. The blurred background with the filter and back light is a great choice!! Thanks for sharing, all the best in the contest

A beautiful picture of this Flame Tulip with it's petals yellow in their centres & deep pink around the edges, the light glowing out from its centre with the pistel in the centre surrounded by the pollen tipped stamens. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
