Oh Wow!
Look at that! : )
It makes me think of the pictures I've seen of my ancestor 'Faoul the Wolf's castle down along Ireland's southern coast!
( There's not much left of that place but a pile of stones though! : ) )
I truly wish that I still had a Six Star rating left 'cause this Outstanding picture definitely deserves a top rating! : D

Wow, what a great entry into the contest. Your composition is fabulous. The mountains in the distance give it great depth of field and make the castle very interesting to look at overall. Nice color, framing of subject matter and placement of focal point.

A great view of this very old castle which is complemented well by the grey clouds and nicely framed by the shrubs. Good focus and dof. Would be interesting place to visit.

I have always very much liked history. Nice capture of the whole fine scene. The sky is lovely and the way the high hills or mountains nestle against it, with its glint upon them. Nice castle, lush greenery and grasses. Is that water in the foreground? Skilled that you captured almost like five grounds with the sky, etc.

Great shot of this castle!! I love these old buildings. Every crack and floor board could tell a story. They certainly do in this image!! The ominous gray sky and the mountains beind really enchance the feelings behind this image. Well done!! Thanks for sharing

Although a straight forward view of this castle think with the backdrop of those mountains and surroundings trees together with the castle and of the sky combines to make for a good contest entry...Brian

This building definitely qualifies as an historical structure, or what remains of it. There something about visiting these sites and imagine what they lived through over the centuries. Well done photograph and creative presentation with the sky picking the shade of the building and hillside in the background. Fresh greenery and colorful, mostly blue clothing on the tourists are nice addition to the main presentation. Good luck in the contest.
