Ideal shot for this contest,there is a lot to see and take in here and dof really is good the mountains contrast well with the greenery in this and the lake in the middle also adds interest..Brian

In Alaska exists some of the most God-created beautiful areas, landscapes and, as you so aptly wrote, "Naturally Beautiful." What beautiful photography of an even more stunning scene. The sky is lovely. The reflection or small body of water is beautiful as well. The foliage and rest of the setting are absolutely gorgeous.

This is an amazing shot. That the lake among the abundant greens of the trees and brushes below looks almost like a heart symbol is fascinating. Your photo has impressive depth and is perfect focused, exposed, and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and textures and the realism of color and light. The contradiction between the dark barren mountain at right and the snow-covered mountain tops at left is striking. The landscape is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced!

Wow Steve! This is truly gorgeous! I love the angle of shot allowing a view of the still water and the way it reflects that clear blue sky! Love the mountains in back and the green foliage surrounding the water.
This is well focused, this image is nice and clear, exposure is perfect, colors and tones appear natural. I like those interesting clouds in the sky, too!
