He does look like he has had a hard night out hunting. Colors are very realistic and the composition is good. Nice focus on the lions eyes in the natural setting.

A great shot of this male lion Fred. The facial expression is well captured as it shows that the lion is relaxed, taking it easy and looks like he could doze off at any moment.
I like the foliage in front of his face as it gives more natural look than one would see in a zoo.
The Botswana trip must have been one of a life time seeing all those animals in their natural habitat.

This lion is really tired, as it seems that he/she is looking at you without jumping away, as his eyes are said, and the place he has chosen to rest is normally not finding, but you are always so special in discovering outstanding moments with outstanding content that it is fantastic, and your close up is so well done that the entire content is excellent again, xoxo
