Your close-up shot is interesting. The red blossoms seem to glow within the green leaves of the tree. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. The photo is perfect composed. The cluster of blossoms has a good placement within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A very beautiful picture of an African Tulip tree ~ Spathodea campanulata
(I just looked it up!) The red flowers glowing in the sunshine framed by their green foliage & patches of clear blue sky between the leaves.
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Colorfull image and therefore works for this contest,the color red would have also worked for this ore so in fact because red contrasts so well in amongst the greenery,good detail and worth taking...Brian
