Yep, They are surviving all right. But they are growing so that is good. I enjoy the colors of the canyon. than the shadow on them when you get a bit higher.

Great shot of the trees struggling to survive on the rocky surface. I like the angle you used for this. Love all the patterns shown in the rocky surface. The bright blue sky contrasts so well with the colour in the rock. Very good camera techniques showing a lovely clear image. Great composition. Suzanne

Spectacular photograph of the rock formations in the Zion National park. The angle you choose to take this image shows the size and texture of this rock mountain so well. The framing with solid blue sky is so nice to view.

Nice capture. The angle of the shot of this upward view of this colorful part of the mountain is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Zion is an amazing Park and you have captured a wild shot of the sparse vegetation that is the object of your shot. It is wild to find trees growing in such remote areas and surviving. Thank you for sharing this entertaining shot. Ray

Nik,
A beautiful picture of the trees clinging to the slopes of these otherwise bare rocky mountain side of the Canyon rising up into the clear blue sky. Each strata layer exposed in different colours that change as the sun crosses the heavens during the day. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

This is a fine shot of a section of inhospitable nature. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Not sure the trees are revelant in this nikman, but it is a point in this, good point of view of this rock face ad the angle is good think this would have benefitted by having a cloudy sky and more of it,but still a good viewpoint though...Brian

Nice capture of this rock face. The orange colour is nicely complimented by the rich blue of the sky. The trees really are growing with no support! Very cool, nice view. Thanks for sharing
