One of my favorite places in the world. The capture of the scene is great. The horizontal
horizon is straight and the tree branch adds interest. The only issue I have, and it just a personal issue, is the use of light is a bit strong. A little less light on the horizon might show off the smoke a bit more. The lower foreground corner foliage could be a bit less lit. Might give the scene a bit more depth. Good Luck on the contest.

Wow this is an amazing landscape image. The composition is well framed by the overhanging branches and the colors are stunning with excellent focus and dof throughout. I love the steam arising from the volcano. Thanks for the information.
