These are beautiful creatures aren't they. I just love to see them in the wild. I don't get many chances though. You have captured a lovely photo of this Elk in the wintertime. There appears to be a line across his body which is a wee bit distracting to me though. Otherwise it's a great photo. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

Yeah, the fence was in the way, these are on a farm. I tried to get a photo, but since this is not my property I could not get any closer to put my camera lens between the fence.
