I'm not sure what type of geese these are but you have captured a wonderful shot of their flight! I like the shallow depth that gives them such great highlight and focus. Nice entry for the contest, best wishes!

Catching birds on the wing is
a great trick. You have nailed them so well. Your final statement satisfies me in my questioning as to these being geese. I have no idea what type of geese these are, but they are not Canda Geese. The graceful wing action adds a graceful rhythm to the scene. Very cool shot and I will be interested when someone identifies this species.

Someone mentioned these to be black bellied whistling ducks. So I googled and sure enough it looks like they are ducks not geese.
Thank you for your review as it is greatly appreciated 🤗

Having been in Ducks Unlimited for many years, I almost said that they look like ducks. I just looked them up and that is exactly what they are. Mystery solved. Still a great shot.

I think they might be black bellied whistling ducks. I do not see them in Michigan but have seen them in Florida. A very nice shot with good detail and fine colors. Best of luck in the contest.

This is for sure a special wildlife content, with these 3 birds in a flying position, which is for sure very attractive for me - your picture is even outstanding as you were at the same position so all of these tree birds are in such a close up that we can even see the entire natural backgrounds creating a super content, all the best of luck, xoxo

Your stop-in-action is extraordinary. The flight of those geese is impressive. The triangle formation of the quartet pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the refinement of detail and the realism of light and color. The photo is perfect composed. The birds have a good placement within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A very nice shot of these geese. Love their color, lighting and the nice sharp focus. Your fast speed did a good job of stopping the movement. The slightly blurred yet recognizable background is perfect.

Absolute perfection. Amazing image. The colors are gorgeous. But the DOF is hands down, excellent. Framing is perfect and action is amazing. All I have left to say is perfect job!
